PassportThe passport must:

Visa Application form

This Application form must:

• Be complited online and printed out
• Be complited not earlier then 7 days from the date of submission.
• Have the applicant’s original signature.
• Have no handwritten changes.

Photograph

Two identical photographs must:

• Be taken within the last three months.
• Be taken against white background.
• Be 35 mm x 45 mm  in size.

   

Please note:
Please do not use stapler when attaching the photograph to the application.
Letter of invitation

The letter of invitation must:

• Be issued by appropriate Russian Federation Migration Service branch.
• Have official seal and legal address of the host institution.
• Have document registration number and date of registration.
• Have signature and name of the official authorized to invite foreigners to Russia.
• Have purpose of visit, dates of stay, names of persons invited.

Please see the costs and processing times involved for obtaining invitation letter.
If you provide your own invitation letter the validity of your visa and number of entries be granted in accordance with your invitation letter.

Please note:
If you do not have letter of invitation Times Visa Services Ltd.  can obtain appropriate invitation letter for you directly from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russian Federation.

Letter from UK employer
This letter must:

• Be addressed to the Consulate.
• Be on company letterhead paper.
• Include the name of the applicant.
• Include the start date and position held in the company.
• Confirm that the applicant is an employee of the company.
• Specify the purpose of journey.
• State the applicant’s expected date of leave and return to work date.
• Include the company registration number.
• Be signed by the applicant’s supervisor or the company’s HR department.
• Be written within one month of visa application submission. ​

Please note:
Students must submit a letter with similar content from their college/university.

Times Visa Services Authorization form
This form must:

• Be printed out
• Be completed and signed

Pre-paid Special Delivery return addressed envelope
It must:

• Be purchased in the post office.
• Have valid return address on the envelope.

Please note:
Pre-franked envelopes are not accepted by the Post Office on return.
Applicable only if you would like to receive your passport back by Special Delivery Post.

All applicants over the age of twelve are now required to provide their biometric data
(ie. fingerprints) in person at the Russian Visa Center, each time they apply for Russian visa.In order to make this process as smooth as possible our company will provide you with the following service:

• Processing times vary from application to application and are at the sole discretion of the Russian Consulate. Please note that the visa processing time may take minimum 4 to 20 working days, and is solely at the Embassies discretion. Please note that even paying for the urgent service will not guarantee that your documents will be expedited or processed by the Russian Consulate quicker.
• First please complete the online application form and get together all required documents.
• When you are ready, please visit our office in person in order for us to check your application form and required documents.
• You should visit our office during weekdays (except UK and Russian bank holidays) from 9am-1pm.
• After we check your application form and required documentation, we will give you instructions to go to the Russian Visa Application Center (27 Gee Street,
  Barbican, London, EC1V 3RD) to submit your application and fingerprints.   Visa Center is open for submission till 3p.m. during weekdays (except UK and Russian bank holidays) the procedure normally takes 5 minutes.
• After you have successfully submitted your visa application and fingerprints, you can leave the center. You do not need to pay and you will get no receipt.
• We will pay all visa fees on your behalf and will collect your passport when the visa is ready.
• Validity of visa will depend of length of your invitation.
• We shall post your passport back to you preferred address or you use your own courier service or collect your passport from our office.

• Applicants who are self -employed, company directors, working from home or unemployed need to provide which have a current balance of a minimum of £100 per day for the duration of the visit (not required for housewives, students and retired applicants).
  If you wish to provide online banking printouts please make sure they will be certified and stamped by your bank.
• French citizens, must provide bank statements for the last three months and return booking flight confirmation
• Applicants travelling to any of the following restricted areas: Dagestan, Chechnya, North Osetia (Abhasia) or Ingushetia will be referred for approximately ten working days.
• Applicants are allowed to hold one valid Russian visa at any one time. Applicants holding a valid visa in a current or second passport must present this for cancellation upon submission of a new visa application.
• Applicants who are under the age of 16 must provide letters from both parents confirming details of the journey, names of accompanying travelers and confirming that parents have no objection to the planned trip. They also have to provide passport copies of both parents and a copy of child’s birth certificate. If at least one of child’s parents is a Russian citizen, they must apply for a private visa.
• Processing time for US passport holders is 15 working days.
• For those who were born in Russia or USSR  need to complete this additional form
• Times Visa Services Ltd.  recommends you do not purchase tickets or make bookings which cannot be cancelled without cost prior to the issuance of a visa, except where it is a specific requirement stated as part of the visa application.

Please note:
We strongly recommend using Royal Mail special delivery service.
You can send us your application by your preferred courier company, postal service or bring it to our office yourself. Please do not send your documents using normal mail.
When the visa is ready we shall return the passport back by the pre-paid envelope provided by you.
Alternatively you can arrange collection from our office by your preferred postal company, courier service or you can collect the passport yourself.
